"Be Still And Know That I Am God"
Psalm 46:10 NIV
Before I say anything about this verse, look at all the translations.
In the midst of chaos, when things do not go according to plan when things become difficult or exceedingly annoying, remind yourself of this verse “Be still and know that I am God” and relax. Allow things to unfold, and trust that wherever you are in life, a path appears according to what you believe to be true. By releasing your assumptions and becoming still, you allow the right things to meet you in your life experience in wondrous ways.
In these few words, there are many nuggets that are all equally important and that I would like to make sure you understand, as they can be life-changing and positively impact your life’s journey.
Let’s start with the first one:
BE
From your BEINGNESS stems every experience in your life. You are BEING before doing or experiencing anything. Because you ARE feeling some way or another, you will be doing this or that.
Only BE what you choose to be because, in BEING, you are allowing God to experience life through you, and win your battles.
You are not responsible for everything that is happening around you. You are one of the many actors and co-creators and by allowing yourself to BE, you are removing the pressure from your shoulders of having to constantly DO.
Remember that we are human beings, not human doings. We are called to BE first, and from our BEINGNESS, from what we believe that we are, all the experiences to confirm what we believe to be true can happen for us.
Our BEINGNESS allows us to reconnect with our true nature and to connect with LIFE itself. Life is BEINGNESS in essence and takes many different shapes, forms, sounds, sizes, and so on.
STILL
Stillness allows serenity to come in. Stillness allows calm to come back. Stillness disempowers anger and frustration. By BEING STILL, you are calling on restoration and clairvoyance in your life experience, and the next steps will be inspired to you.
Only in the stillness can you hear the voice of the reason, the voice of the intuition, the voice of God that is whispering to your ear. Only when you are being still can you notice that after all, everything is for the best of everyone. Only when you are being still can you see, hear, and notice what is really going on around you.
Stillness allows you to take a break from the chaos of your life, and get your mind some relaxation and clairvoyance about your next steps.
Allow yourself to be still, even for 5 minutes already, and calm down your heart, your breathing, and your body. Give it a break and let yourself be.
KNOW
It’s not written believe, hope, or assume. It’s written KNOW.
KNOWING is like having the certainty of something, having the conviction of something. It’s more than a belief, it’s something that you hold as being the truth.
When you know something, there is no doubt in your understanding. It’s a foundational pillar.
All that you know must materialize in your life. Because of the nature of the universe, and all the universal eternal laws (like the law of attraction), what you know must objectify.
When you KNOW something, it’s in your subconscious mind, and it’s running your life experience. This KNOWLEDGE is deeply ingrained in your BEINGNESS and defines your IDENTITY.
When it’s written “be still and know that I AM God”, this level of KNOW is the deepest certitude that there is. It is at your soul level and at the deepest core of your beingness that you know.
I AM
The great “I AM” that creates everything.
Every time you use “I am” in a sentence, you are speaking the word of God, the word of creation. Be very careful what you put after your “I AM” statements, as you will experience the full scope of it.
When you speak words like “I AM tired”, you are calling in tiredness, even if you are saying these words based on a feeling that you already feel just before saying it. But the fact of saying and acknowledging it, you are calling more of it in your life experience right here right now.
When you speak words like “I AM God’s favorite child”, you are calling in divine favor, divine guidance, divine protection, abundance, and prosperity.
Choose wisely what you put after your “I AM” statements, as they are the most powerful words of creation, and everything that follows it has to be true, as we have been created in the image and likeness of God, therefore we have the power of creation as well.
GOD
The origin, the creator, the only one that was before, that is, and that will always be, transcending time, space, and reality.
By hearing this verse over and over again, you are allowing GOD to win your battles for you. You are allowing GOD to transform you so that you can be successful.
Therefore,
Be Still and Know that I AM God
is a reminder to come back to your place, and let GOD handle your situation, inspire you the next steps, or get the victory for your case, as you are giving back Glory to God.
Every day, remind yourself of this great truth and lean in on God. God is everywhere, omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient. Therefore, you can trust that God got it and that you can sit and relax. Everything will be handled properly, and righteous justice will prevail in every circumstance.
Also, notice that in this verse, every word means BE:
Be = be, it is said to come back in our BEINGNESS
Still = be still, tranquil, allow things to be. Stillness is the essence of BEINGNESS.
Know = be certain, be clear, be convinced in your BEINGNESS
I AM = BEINGNESS in its creation power
God = the ultimate BEINGNESS that created all that there is in every dimension and aspect.
